According to GAC GROUP, due to the novel coronavirus epidemic and natural disasters, key electronic components enterprises such as chips are underemployed. At the same time, the speed of China's automobile development exceeded international expectations in 2020, and the increasing demand in the field of home appliances and mobile phone consumer electronics. The global shortage of chips has seriously affected the development of China's automobile industry. In December 2020, the Central Economic work Conference clearly put forward the requirements of strengthening the independent and controllable ability of the industrial chain and maintaining the security and stability of the supply chain. Although the market prospect of automotive semiconductors and parts is broad, the government attaches great importance to it, and the industry chain has a strong sense of self-control, there are still some problems, including: domestic chip investment is not active, there is a phenomenon of "hot and cold"; supply chain investment is conservative, automotive chip production capacity is occupied, supply chain security problems are prominent, market chaos is numerous; The lack of standards and verification systems limits the development of automotive semiconductors and key parts industry.
In this regard, Zeng Qinghong suggested:
We will unswervingly adhere to independent innovation, opening up and cooperation, and promote the sustained growth of both domestic and foreign markets. Increase accurate support for the automotive electronics industry chain, formulate and implement special incentive measures for automotive semiconductors and key electronic components, speed up the construction of the domestic automotive regulation semiconductor standard system and the implementation of the roadmap for the automotive key electronic components industry, strengthen and improve the regulatory mechanism of the automotive semiconductor industry, optimize the business environment, and help enterprises to invest and integrate. Strengthen anti-monopoly law enforcement in basic areas of people's livelihood, guide platform enterprises and other relevant social capital flows into national strategic scientific and technological fields that require long-term investment, such as chips and key automotive electronic components, and increase international cooperation at the national level, explore ways of joint venture cooperation or in-depth strategic cooperation to further enhance the international competitiveness of the industrial chain.
